Director of Restructuring Advisory

About the role

FRP Advisory is seeking a seasoned Director of Restructuring Advisory for its London office. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality advisory services, leading independent business reviews, contingency planning, and cash‑flow management for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage restructuring advisory projects from inception to completion, including independent business reviews, options analysis and corporate restructurings.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact and maintaining trust throughout engagements.
• Provide pre‑appointment advice and, when required, participate in formal restructuring processes.
• Deliver financial analysis, cash‑flow reviews and critical cash‑management support.
• Oversee the work of junior team members, offering guidance and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in restructuring advisory within a professional services environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑entity restructurings for mid‑market to large‑scale assignments.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of building lasting relationships.
• Excellent written communication, report writing and presentation abilities.
