Director of Social Media & Content

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Social Media & Content to shape Pixi’s digital presence. Based in Central London, you will lead the social media function, working closely with marketing, creative and product teams to build brand awareness and engage our community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy, including live content, aligned with brand values.
• Lead the creation of visually compelling photos, videos, graphics, live streams and copy for social channels and digital platforms.
• Manage and inspire a team of social media and content creators, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Optimize presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X (Twitter), staying current with platform updates.
• Engage the online community by responding to comments, messages and encouraging user‑generated content.
• Ensure all output reflects Pixi’s brand style, quality and tone.
• Utilize analytics tools to track performance, produce regular reports and actionable insights.
• Maintain a content calendar for consistent brand visibility across platforms.
• Spot emerging beauty and social media trends to drive innovative campaigns.
• Manage the social media and content budget efficiently.
• Guarantee compliance with industry regulations and brand guidelines.
