Director of Trade Growth

About the role

As Director of Trade Growth you will own the end‑to‑end growth engine, turning free users into paying customers and building a scalable revenue engine across product, marketing, sales and data.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign the entire growth engine, overseeing acquisition, activation, conversion, retention and expansion.
• Turn free users into loyal paying customers by identifying and removing friction points.
• Build a culture obsessed with experimentation, launching rapid tests across onboarding, pricing, lifecycle and offers.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing, data and customer teams to align priorities and influence roadmaps.
• Leverage AI and automation for smarter segmentation, automated lifecycle journeys and faster experimentation.
• Own and report on core commercial metrics such as activation, conversion, ARPU, LTV:CAC and retention.
• Identify new acquisition channels, monetisation opportunities and product‑led growth motions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading growth in SaaS, marketplace, PLG or SMB businesses.
• Deep understanding of growth funnels and commercial metrics.
• Product mindset that integrates CRM, pricing and customer experience.
• Strong experimentation instincts and ability to run rapid tests.
• Confidence working with AI, automation and modern growth tooling.
• Exceptional stakeholder management across product, sales, marketing and data.
• Bias for action, simplifying complexity and keeping momentum high.
