Director – Remediation Consulting for Financial Services

About the role

EY UK is seeking a Director to lead its Remediation team within the Financial Services practice. You will shape the delivery strategy for large‑scale remediation programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders to ensure effective governance, risk management and positive customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream remediation programmes from mobilisation to closure.
• Define delivery strategy, establish governance frameworks and control mechanisms.
• Provide trusted advisory to senior client leaders on programme design, risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Originate new business opportunities, lead pursuits and proposals, and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional EY teams to design technology‑enabled solutions that increase pace and control.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services remediation or regulatory risk consulting.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex programmes with multiple workstreams.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and lead proposal development.

Required skills

• Programme design and control, including integrated planning, dependency management and RAID tracking.
• Governance and risk management frameworks for remediation initiatives.
