Director – Technology Consulting – Insurance (London)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading consulting organisation to appoint a Director of Technology Consulting focused on the insurance industry. The role will work closely with CIOs and executive teams across the UK and Europe to design future‑ready technology operating models that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead technology vision, operating model design and transformation roadmaps.
• Advise senior stakeholders on business‑enabled technology strategy.
• Design and deliver operating models across Cloud, Generative AI and digital technology.
• Drive modern service, product and DevOps‑led technology operations.
• Support IT M&A, divestments and regulatory‑driven change initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level consulting experience in technology strategy, operating model design and transformation delivery within the insurance industry.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud, Generative AI, digital platforms and emerging technology trends.
• Strong background in IT/Cloud operating models, service management and DevOps.
• Confident engagement with C‑level stakeholders and ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel within the UK.
