Dispenser – Pharmacy Team Member

About the role
As a Dispenser you will join the pharmacy team in a UK store, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them with prescriptions, medication advice and health‑wellness queries.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and handing over medicines.
- Work with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to manage the delivery of pharmacy services.
- Provide medication advice to patients and refer complex queries to the pharmacist.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of new store innovations and operational processes.
- Support patients in managing repeat prescriptions and promote adherence.
- Utilise evolving store technologies and new dispensing systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Required profile
- Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification (NVQ2) or equivalent, or first year of an MPharm qualification.
- Current, valid UK right to work (no sponsorship available).
- Experience in a community pharmacy is desirable.
