Dispensing Optician – Full‑time, Harpurhey

About the role
We are looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our Harpurhey store. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose and fit spectacles while delivering a friendly, professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate eye‑test results and dispense spectacles according to prescriptions.
- Guide customers through the optics and audiology product range, recommending suitable frames and lenses.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Process orders, manage inventory, and support the retail team in achieving sales targets.
- Participate in ongoing clinical and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Ophthalmic Dispensing.
- Strong understanding of the optics and audiology customer journeys.
- Excellent communication and listening abilities.
- Team‑oriented attitude and passion for high‑quality customer service.

- Salary up to £37,000 per year, based on experience.
