Dispute Resolution Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a growing private practice litigation team in Marlow. The role offers a varied caseload covering civil and commercial disputes, with the chance to develop under senior supervision. Candidates from newly qualified to senior level are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload that may include contractual disputes, commercial litigation, property and land matters, professional negligence, shareholder and partnership disputes, debt recovery, and contentious probate and trust litigation.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications and other legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, case analysis and risk assessments.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Oversee deadlines, case strategy and procedural requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers.
• Support the continued growth of the litigation department.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales).
• Between newly qualified (NQ) and 6+ years post‑qualification experience in dispute resolution or litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil and/or commercial disputes.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
