Dispute Resolution Solicitor (Legal Director)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a nationally recognised Commercial Dispute Resolution team in London. The role offers the opportunity to lead high‑value litigation and arbitration matters across a broad range of commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload including contractual, shareholder, professional negligence, fraud, IP, construction and property disputes.
• Represent clients through all stages of litigation, arbitration, mediation and other ADR processes.
• Lead client meetings, negotiations, and instruct counsel and expert witnesses.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to their development.
• Drive business development initiatives and support the growth of the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure rules and proven advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high‑value cases independently.
• Excellent commercial awareness and organisational capabilities.
• Proactive approach to client relationship building and business development.
