Distribution Centre Supervisor

About the role

Movianto is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Supervisor to lead its Bedford site within the healthcare logistics sector. You will work Monday to Friday, 6:00‑14:00, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations while championing the company’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including route building and depot dashboard maintenance.
• Oversee scanning processes and step in as Distribution Centre Manager when required.
• Maintain high health‑and‑safety standards and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Monitor operational systems such as Verilocation, TMS, Convey and Fleet Check.
• Produce clear performance reports and coordinate vehicle scheduling.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relationships to optimise performance.
• Handle HR activities including absence and disciplinary management.
• Lead, motivate and engage the team to achieve targets.
• Analyse KPI data for continuous improvement and maintain time‑and‑attendance records via iTrent.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a distribution centre supervisory role, preferably within pharmaceutical or healthcare logistics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety, service and compliance.
• Ability to embed company values and promote an inclusive culture.
• Valid UK driving licence.
