Domestic Abuse Support Worker

About the role
We are seeking a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join a specialist accommodation service in Sandwell, providing trauma‑informed case management, safety planning and practical housing support to victims and survivors living in refuge accommodation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residents, ensuring personalised support that reflects individual needs and risks.
- Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments and develop safety and support plans.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and group interventions using a person‑centred, trauma‑informed approach.
- Collaborate with partner agencies and contribute to Multi‑Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC).
- Support clients in building confidence, independence and long‑term resilience after abuse.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
- Ability to work with vulnerable adults in a residential refuge setting.
- Female (occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010).
- Full‑time availability Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm.
- Knowledge of trauma‑informed practice and safety planning.
