Domiciliary Optical Assistant

About the role

Join Specsavers as a Domiciliary Optical Assistant and bring eye‑care services directly to patients who cannot visit a store. You will travel across South & South East London, delivering clinical support and helping customers with everyday tasks that improve their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home‑visit eye examinations and provide optical advice.
• Assist patients with fitting and adjusting spectacles.
• Support vulnerable individuals with basic tasks related to their eye‑care needs.
• Maintain accurate records using company systems on a tablet or laptop.
• Travel safely to assigned locations, adhering to scheduled appointments.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an optical environment.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tablet devices.
• Proficiency with laptop computers.

What we offer

• Annual salary up to £27,000.
