Domiciliary Optical Assistant

About the role
Join Specsavers as a Domiciliary Optical Assistant and bring eye‑care services directly to patients who cannot visit a store. You will travel across South & South East London, delivering clinical support and helping customers with everyday tasks that improve their quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct home‑visit eye examinations and provide optical advice.
- Assist patients with fitting and adjusting spectacles.
- Support vulnerable individuals with basic tasks related to their eye‑care needs.
- Maintain accurate records using company systems on a tablet or laptop.
- Travel safely to assigned locations, adhering to scheduled appointments.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in an optical environment.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with tablet devices.
- Proficiency with laptop computers.
What we offer
- Annual salary up to £27,000.
- Car allowance of £3,000 per year or a fully expensed company car.
