Drainage Engineer – Field Based across London & South East

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our Sidcup‑based team, delivering drainage solutions to commercial and domestic clients across London and the South East. The role is field‑based, offering a mix of full‑time and part‑time hours with a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Perform drain clearances on internal and external drainage systems using high‑pressure water jetting.
• Conduct and assist with drainage CCTV surveys.
• Operate rotary mechanical machining equipment to unblock internal blockages such as sinks, toilets and baths.
• Carry out reactive plumbing tasks including tap replacement, toilet removal and leak investigation.
• Upload all work reports via mobile phone, eliminating paperwork.
• Provide overtime and occasional weekend support as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a drainage engineer.
• Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Availability for Monday‑Saturday schedule with a day off during the week and occasional weekend overtime.

Required skills

• High‑pressure water jetting.
• Drainage CCTV surveying.
• Rotary mechanical machining / de‑scaling.
• Reactive light plumbing (tap replacement, leak detection).
