Driver Assessor Team Leader – South Region

About the role

As the Regional Driver Assessor Team Leader for the South region, you will ensure the safety and competence of Movianto’s commercial vehicle drivers. You will conduct practical and psychosocial assessments, provide feedback, and support driver development across Bedford, Haverhill, Dartford, Slough and Basingstoke.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out practical competency assessments for pre‑employment, post‑accident and annual refreshers.
• Perform psychosocial assessments covering decision‑making and driver wellbeing.
• Communicate assessment schedules, priorities and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Produce robust reports on driver assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Plan and prioritise annual assessment programmes and ad‑hoc requests following incidents.
• Deliver feedback and coaching to drivers and their line managers.
• Liaise with regional transport trainers to arrange remedial training.
• Provide national coverage for other regions when required (holiday, sickness or high‑demand periods).

• £31,000 per annum, full‑time (37.5 h/week).
