About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic driver to join a leading tool‑hire provider in the Greater London area. You will operate a 3.5 t van, delivering and collecting power tools, plant and other equipment, ensuring timely service for construction sites.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and collect construction tools and small plant across the Greater London area.
- Maintain responsibility for the vehicle, performing driver checks before each journey.
- Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
- Keep the yard and storage areas organised and tidy.
- Assist in the depot with various tasks as required.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience towing a trailer (preferred).
- Organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Literate and able to complete paperwork.
- Customer‑friendly approach.
Required skills
- Full UK driving licence.
- Trailer towing capability.
- Power‑tool test and run checking (advantage).
