Driver - Tool Hire

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic driver to join a leading tool‑hire provider in the Greater London area. You will operate a 3.5 t van, delivering and collecting power tools, plant and other equipment, ensuring timely service for construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect construction tools and small plant across the Greater London area.
• Maintain responsibility for the vehicle, performing driver checks before each journey.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Keep the yard and storage areas organised and tidy.
• Assist in the depot with various tasks as required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience towing a trailer (preferred).
• Organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Literate and able to complete paperwork.
• Customer‑friendly approach.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Trailer towing capability.
• Power‑tool test and run checking (advantage).
