Driver/Loader – Waste Collection

About the role

Join Veolia’s growing fleet as a Driver/Loader, delivering essential waste collection services to local communities in Norwich. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient removal of waste while contributing to environmental sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled collection points and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift and handle bins of varying sizes and weights.
• Perform daily vehicle checks in line with the driver operator handbook.
• Enter collection data into the onboard system and submit required paperwork each day.
• Comply with traffic laws, load security regulations, and weight limits.
• Maintain a clean carriageway, cleaning any spillages promptly.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Current CPC/Digi card.
• Previous experience in waste management or similar logistics role.
• Team‑player attitude with strong time‑management skills.
