About the role
Join a well‑established waste management company as a Driver/Operative, working outdoors across a 60‑mile radius from Dunmow, Essex. No prior experience is needed – full training and a company vehicle are provided.
Key responsibilities
- Travel to assigned locations using a company vehicle and a SAT NAV.
- Collect and empty dog waste and litter bins in parks and public spaces.
- Perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and equipment.
- Follow health and safety procedures and report any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence.
- Physical fitness for manual handling duties.
- Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Reliability and ability to work independently or within a small team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAT NAV navigation.
