Drivers Mate – Logistics Support in Bedford

About the role
Join a busy logistics team in Bedford as a Drivers Mate. You will work closely with drivers to ensure deliveries run smoothly and safely, supporting a leading client in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the driver with navigation and route planning.
- Complete paperwork and make necessary phone calls.
- Help load and unload the vehicle safely.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Drivers Mate or similar role.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area and reliable attendance.
- Clean driving licence and prior van driving experience (for driver roles).
