Duty Manager – Boutique Hotel in Belgravia

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Duty Manager to lead daily operations at The Lowndes Hotel, a boutique property in Belgravia, London. The role ensures that all guest‑facing services meet Jumeirah’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property operations, especially the Front Office, aligning with Jumeirah service standards and property strategy.
• Conduct room inspections to verify availability and compliance with operational standards.
• Coordinate activities across departments to improve cooperation and service delivery.
• Attend daily briefings and communication meetings to disseminate information and ensure team alignment.
• Manage booking situations, including handling over‑booking scenarios when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of lobby and entrance areas, working with Housekeeping and Concierge teams.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Guest Services or Front Office roles within luxury hospitality.
• Proficient in English with strong active listening and clear verbal communication.
• Adaptability to shift work, cultural awareness, attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Front Office applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
