DV Cleared Security Architect – London/Hybrid (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a DV‑cleared Security Architect to join a high‑profile, hybrid London‑based programme for an initial six‑month contract (inside IR35). The role involves shaping security architecture for complex, high‑risk services and translating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and advise on security solutions that reduce strategic risk across large‑scale business change and IT transformation programmes.
• Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including major IT service providers, security and data protection authorities, and commercial teams.
• Lead security aspects of secure technology‑based projects, ensuring compliance with national accreditation processes and the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework.
• Develop and maintain audit and challenge processes, supporting secure national projects on time and within budget.
• Provide clear, audience‑appropriate communication under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Active DV clearance.
• Proven experience in large‑scale business change, IT transformation and high‑profile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and high‑performance teams.
• Understanding of Government Security Classification levels and national security accreditation.
• Experience in the policing sector is desirable.

Required skills

• CISSP (or equivalent cyber/information security qualification).
• CISM (or equivalent cyber/information security qualification).
