Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (Warehousing & Distribution)

About the role

This hybrid role (3‑4 days remote per week) focuses on delivering fixed‑scope Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations for manufacturing and distribution clients in the Midlands. You will combine functional consulting expertise with hands‑on warehouse management knowledge to help customers optimise their supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end Business Central implementation projects, including solution configuration, data migration, testing, user training and go‑live support.
• Design and configure warehouse management solutions – locations, zones, bins, receipts, shipments, put‑away, pick processes and barcode scanning.
• Advise customers on best practices for warehousing and distribution, ensuring solutions meet current and future requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective Business Central configurations.
• Build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of each client’s warehouse and supply‑chain processes.
• Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge sharing, user guides and training materials.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) implementations.
• Background working for a Microsoft Dynamics partner or in a functional Business Central role within an end‑user organisation.
• Hands‑on experience implementing warehouse management within Business Central, including inventory setup, bins, zones, receipts, shipments and lot/serial tracking.
• Experience delivering SaaS ERP implementations.
