About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECT) to join supportive secondary schools across South London. This permanent, long‑term role offers a structured induction programme and ongoing professional development to help you become an outstanding classroom practitioner.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 where available).
• Assess, monitor and support student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment.
• Collaborate with mentors, experienced colleagues and wider school staff.
• Fully engage with the ECT induction programme and professional development opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS completion.
• A degree and subject specialism relevant to secondary education.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for inspiring young people and a proactive teaching approach.
• Commitment to developing as an outstanding teacher.
