Early Years Educator – Flexible Part‑Time (Level 2/3)

About the role

Join a network of nurseries, preschools and school‑based nursery classes across Brent, delivering high‑quality early years care on a flexible, part‑time basis. You will work directly with children aged 0‑5, bringing energy and enthusiasm to a variety of settings without the need for lesson planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily routines such as snack time, story corners and outdoor play.
• Engage children in age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and social development.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment in each setting.
• Collaborate with existing preschool teams and follow established classroom procedures.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent.
• Experience working with children aged 0‑5 (SEN experience is a plus).
• Enthusiastic, patient and playful attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) preferred.

Required skills

• Relevant early‑years qualification (Level 2/3).
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings.
