Early Years Educator (Qualified/Unqualified) – Nursery

About the role

Little Dukes is seeking enthusiastic early years educators to join its network of independent nurseries across London, Richmond upon Thames, Brighton & Hove and Worthing. Both qualified and unqualified practitioners are welcome for part‑time positions, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on children aged 0‑5.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5.
• Plan and deliver EYFS‑aligned activities that are stimulating and engaging.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s learning and development.

Required profile

• Passion for working with young children and a genuine love for the role.
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Patience, empathy and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of childcare regulations and safeguarding practices.
• Qualified candidates must hold a Level 2/3 Early Years Educator qualification or an equivalent full qualification.

Required skills

• Paediatric First Aid (preferred).
