Ecologist – Basingstoke

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Ecologist to join our growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Basingstoke. You will work alongside experienced professionals delivering high‑quality environmental and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake ecological surveys on a variety of sites.
• Produce clear, technical reports for clients and project teams.
• Support habitat and protected‑species assessments.
• Provide ecological advice to ensure sustainable project solutions.
• Contribute to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure sectors.

Required profile

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in ecological surveys and report writing.
• Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Living within a commutable distance of Basingstoke.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
