Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Oxford

About the role

We are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a large facilities and maintenance company on a static site near Oxford. The role is full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday, with occasional out‑of‑hours call‑out duties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works on site.
• Ensure work follows task schedules, industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and maintain main plant and equipment within the buildings daily.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring they meet contractual and site operating standards.
• Maintain the site logbook and keep all paperwork up to date.
• Receive and resolve client issues promptly, preserving business continuity.
• Participate in an on‑call rota for emergency response outside normal hours.

Required profile

• Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with AM2 where required.
• 18th Edition qualification (highly desirable).
• 2391 Test and Inspection certification (highly desirable).
• Experience working in occupied office environments.
• Valid driving licence.
• Ability to obtain a DBS check.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
