Social Value & Community Manager – Oxford & South West

About the role

The Social Value & Community Manager leads delivery of social value and community engagement across multiple projects in Oxford and Bristol. Acting as the main link between Hill, clients, residents and partners, the role ensures projects meet social value KPIs while fostering positive community experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients, local partners, residents and internal teams.
• Represent Hill at external meetings and forums related to social value and community engagement.
• Develop and deliver regional social value programmes aligned with project and group KPIs.
• Design and implement community initiatives that leave a lasting legacy.
• Collect, manage and report real‑time data, images and stories using Impact Reporting, Social Value Portal and HACT.
• Organise and chair community meetings, events and resident briefings, including outside standard hours.
• Ensure S.106 and local authority obligations are met on time.

Required profile

• Experience in community engagement, resident liaison or social value delivery.
• Proven project and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, confident presenting to clients and stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to travel across sites in Oxford and Bristol.
