Electrical Qualifying Engineer – Maintenance Team

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Qualifying Engineer to join our maintenance team in the South East region. You will deliver safe, compliant electrical services across multiple client sites in London and surrounding areas, while progressing towards EngTech accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and minor works on client sites.
• Conduct audit checks on in‑house electricians and subcontractor works as a Qualifying Supervisor.
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems and equipment to meet service level targets.
• Install new plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and condition ratings for the asset management database.

Required profile

• Fully qualified electrician with a JIB/ECS Gold Card and NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2360/2330/2356/2357/2382).
• Holder of 18th Edition BS 7671 and BS 2391 full test & inspection qualifications, plus AM1 and AM2.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and working towards or already holding EngTech accreditation.
