Electrical Service Sales Executive – Electrical/Electronics

About the role

The Electrical Service Sales Executive will support the sales team in the electrical and electronics sector, handling inbound customer enquiries and converting leads into sales orders. Based in Fareham, the role combines office work with home‑working after an initial training period.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and respond to emails within company‑defined timescales.
• Log and chase new enquiries and leads, ensuring they are acknowledged and followed up.
• Create accurate quotations, re‑quote where necessary, and convert live quotes into sales orders.
• Maintain the CRM system by logging activities, monitoring the sales inbox, and updating order status.
• Work with the Head of Sales to raise potential issues and ensure margins remain within acceptable limits.
• Process sales orders in line with the Sales Order Acceptance Procedure and resolve any anomalies.
• Coordinate account‑management tasks with Business Development Managers, including visit planning and problem resolution.
• Monitor allocated leads and quotations regularly and uphold a professional presentation at all times.
