Inbound & Outbound Sales Advisor (Customer Service)

About the role

Williams Trade Supplies, an independent plumbing and heating merchant, is looking for a proven Customer Service professional to join its Central Support Offices in Fareham. As an Inbound & Outbound Sales Advisor you will deliver customer service by telephone and email, resolve complaints and handle orders and quotes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by telephone and email
• Resolve complaints and challenges using initiative
• Take inbound and outbound calls and manage requests promptly
• Cross-sell, soft-sell and up-sell at every opportunity
• Reduce costs through attention to detail and solve problems with a solutions-based approach
• Process orders and quotes in a timely manner
• Manage e-mails and online orders

Required profile

• Familiarity with a similar Customer Service or Sales environment
• Team player who supports colleagues across departments
• Self-motivated and able to prioritise, meet deadlines and multitask
• Highly organised, focused on process and quality

Required skills

• IT literate with a sound level of general computer skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus one half-day Saturday, with a rotating schedule (Wednesday usually off)
