Electrician – North & West London – Up to £60k OTE

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join a leading M&E contractor operating across North and West London. The role offers a competitive basic salary with significant overtime potential, a company van, fuel card, and clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical fault finding and diagnostics on domestic and commercial properties.
• Carry out EICR inspections, certification, and routine testing.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Replace consumer units, upgrade fuse boards, and undertake full or partial rewires.
• Test and maintain emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, and security lighting systems.
• Conduct circuit testing, including ring final, radial, and three‑phase fault finding.
• Maintain distribution boards, perform electrical remedial works, and conduct landlord safety inspections.
• Install and terminate cables, upgrade LED lighting, and manage containment systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an electrician in occupied buildings.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (18th Edition BS7671).
• JIB Gold Card holder.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and ability to work independently.
