Electrician – Reactive Repairs in South London

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis, covering the South London area. You will work on residential and communal properties, providing reactive repair services and ensuring compliance with all electrical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repair work in residents’ homes and communal areas.
• Test and certify all work in line with the Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 (18th Edition).
• Maintain health and safety standards to protect tenants and operatives.
• Safeguard, maintain and record electrical tools, test equipment and van stock.
• Complete electrical certification reports for each job.

Required profile

• Experience of reactive repairs within a social housing or residential setting.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and share company values.

Required skills

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3, AM2, NVQ Level 3.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2392/2394 & 2395 (inspection & testing competence).
• City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition.
• Full UK driving licence.
