Electrician – Renewable Energy Training – Kent/South London

About the role

We are seeking qualified electricians to join our client’s expanding engineering team in Kent and South London. The role involves delivering electrical installation, inspection, testing and maintenance across domestic and commercial sites, with full training in renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage and EV charging.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing and maintenance in residential and commercial environments.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults while ensuring compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards.
• Participate in projects involving solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation for inspections and certifications.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to deliver high‑quality service safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Motivated, reliable and safety‑focused with the ability to work independently.
• Desirable: AM2 assessment, 2391 certification, or willingness to train in these areas.
