Electrician & Solar PV Installer – Oxfordshire

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with strong Solar PV expertise to join a well‑established organisation delivering electrical and renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial properties in Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain domestic and commercial Solar PV systems.
• Carry out electrical energy storage (battery) installations.
• Diagnose and repair faults on Solar PV and related electrical systems.
• Complete electrical installations, rewires, remedial works and routine maintenance.
• Inspect, test and verify electrical installations to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Participate in a standby call‑out rota.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• BPEC or City & Guilds qualifications in Solar PV and Electrical Energy Storage Systems.
• Proven experience installing Solar PV systems in domestic and commercial settings.
• Strong background in electrical installation, fault finding, inspection, testing and rewiring.
• Good working knowledge of BS7671 and current electrical regulations.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.
