EMEA Payroll Manager – 6‑Month Temporary Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across 12‑14 countries for a six‑month period. The role is hybrid, based in Hammersmith, London, and offers the chance to work within a fast‑paced, globally recognised organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage payroll vendor performance against SLAs and governance standards.
• Act as the escalation point for payroll‑related issues.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5‑6 payroll analysts.
• Drive payroll transformation initiatives and system improvements.
• Oversee stock options, RSUs and incentive‑related payroll activities.
• Partner with HR, Finance and senior business leaders to meet statutory deadlines and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing payroll in a multi‑country EMEA environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience leading and developing payroll teams within a large organisation.
• High analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and process improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• SAP (payroll system knowledge advantageous)
