EMEA Payroll Manager – 6‑Month Temporary Role

About the role
We are looking for an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across 12‑14 countries for a six‑month period. The role is hybrid, based in Hammersmith, London, and offers the chance to work within a fast‑paced, globally recognised organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage payroll vendor performance against SLAs and governance standards.
- Act as the escalation point for payroll‑related issues.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 5‑6 payroll analysts.
- Drive payroll transformation initiatives and system improvements.
- Oversee stock options, RSUs and incentive‑related payroll activities.
- Partner with HR, Finance and senior business leaders to meet statutory deadlines and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing payroll in a multi‑country EMEA environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience leading and developing payroll teams within a large organisation.
- High analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and process improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Required skills
- SAP (payroll system knowledge advantageous)
