EMEA Sales Manager – Nonprofit & Social Impact

About the role

As the EMEA AE Lead for Beneficial Deployments at Anthropic, you will build and lead a foundational sales team driving adoption of Claude across mission‑driven organisations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role combines hands‑on selling of complex AI solutions with coaching a regional team, operating with significant autonomy while aligning with global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Win new business and generate revenue from nonprofits, foundations, INGOs and social enterprises across EMEA.
• Build, hire and scale a regional sales team, defining structure, processes and operational cadence.
• Design and execute sales strategies tailored to diverse budget cycles, grant timelines and regulatory environments.
• Navigate multi‑stakeholder ecosystems, engaging executives, programme officers, trustees and IT teams to secure deals.
• Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and ensure compliance with GDPR, data sovereignty and AI ethics.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B sales experience in nonprofit technology, EdTech or social‑impact SaaS, preferably in EMEA.
• Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing strategic deals with NGOs, foundations or educational institutions.
• Experience building and scaling high‑performing sales teams across multiple time zones.
• Deep understanding of nonprofit and education sector operations, including EU/UK regulatory and funding frameworks.
• Fluent English; French a plus; additional European languages beneficial.
• Strong passion for social impact and ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.
