About the role
The Emergency Frailty Unit (EFU) Co‑ordinator will support the Care of the Elderly Directorate by ensuring the smooth operation of the EFU assessment area and rapid‑access clinics. This role is central to delivering timely patient reviews and coordinating referrals within the unit.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the EFU assessment area and ensure efficient clinic flow.
- Book and manage Grace rapid‑access clinics, monitoring waiting lists.
- Answer telephone queries and provide information to patients and staff.
- Coordinate inpatient referrals to the Care of the Elderly service.
- Work in line with Welsh Government RTT guidelines and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on clinic activity.
