Employability Administrator

About the role

The Employability Administrator will provide high‑quality administrative support to the Employability Team across South Thames College Group. Working closely with Work Experience Coordinators, Heads of Employability and the Group Work Experience and Industry Placement Lead, you will help ensure that work experience, T‑Level placements and employer engagement are recorded accurately and delivered smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all placement activity in the college’s MIS.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for work experience and industry placements.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication between learners, employers and college staff.
• Support the preparation of reports and data analysis for employability initiatives.
• Assist with the organisation of employer events and placement fairs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within education, training or employability settings.
• Strong organisational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for supporting diverse student groups and employer partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using MIS (Management Information System) platforms.
