Employer's Agent / Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

About the role

Join a fast‑growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Cambridge as an Employer's Agent and Project Manager. You will work on residential and mixed‑use schemes, partnering with public sector and affordable‑housing clients to deliver projects from feasibility through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Employer's Agent on residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Manage the full project lifecycle – feasibility, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Provide strategic advice during options appraisal and planning stages.
• Control project finances, monitor budgets and report progress to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Support and mentor junior members of the project team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Employer's Agent, Project Manager or similar client‑side consultancy role.
• Strong understanding of Design & Build procurement and the construction process.
• Experience delivering residential, affordable housing, mixed‑tenure or mixed‑use projects.
• Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and financial management capability.
