Employment Lawyer / Associate

About the role

A nationally recognised law firm is looking for a qualified solicitor to join its established Employment team on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload, providing advice on discrimination, equality, redundancy, TUPE and termination issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment contracts and related documentation.
• Represent clients at employment tribunal hearings and negotiate settlements.
• Lead client meetings, conduct complex negotiations and build strong client relationships.
• Maintain high standards of client care and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in employment law.
• Proven track record handling employment tribunal matters.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• Client‑focused mindset with commercial awareness.
