Employment Solicitor – 2-5 PQE, £55k-£75k

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join our thriving Employment team in Buckinghamshire. You will work on a varied mix of respondent and claimant matters, providing high‑quality advice to both employers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on contentious and non‑contentious employment issues, including HR queries, employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, redundancy programmes and handle Employment Tribunal claims.
• Support corporate transactions by providing TUPE advice and conducting employment due‑diligence.
• Contribute to client training, networking events and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2‑5 years PQE and solid experience in employment law.
• Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation and excellent drafting and advocacy abilities.
• Experience of both claimant and respondent work is advantageous.
• Commercially aware, confident in building client relationships and contributing to business development.
• Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills with the ability to manage your own caseload.
