Employment Solicitor (2‑5 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join our thriving Employment team in Buckinghamshire. You will work on a varied mix of respondent and claimant matters, delivering high‑quality legal advice and supporting business development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers and employees on contentious and non‑contentious employment issues, including contracts, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements.
• Handle Employment Tribunal claims, redundancy programmes and day‑to‑day HR queries.
• Support corporate transactions by providing TUPE advice and conducting employment due diligence.
• Contribute to client training sessions, networking events and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2‑5 years PQE in employment law.
• Strong technical knowledge of both claimant and respondent work.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially aware, confident in building client relationships and driving business development.

Required skills

• Employment law expertise (drafting contracts, handling tribunals, TUPE, redundancy).
