Employment Solicitor – Hybrid, Bath or Somerset

About the role

A highly regarded regional law firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team in Bath or Somerset. The role is hybrid, offering a collaborative, commercially‑focused environment where you will advise a broad range of clients on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on employment disputes, workplace investigations, restructures, TUPE, settlement agreements and restrictive covenants.
• Deliver day‑to‑day HR and employment law guidance to businesses, senior executives and individuals.
• Manage a varied caseload while working closely with corporate and commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor – NQ or with post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Commercially minded and approachable.
• Confident in managing client relationships and a varied caseload.
• Committed to professional growth and delivering high‑quality work.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and practical problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, including TUPE, settlement agreements and restrictive covenants.
• Ability to handle both contentious and non‑contentious matters effectively.
