Employment Solicitor – Hybrid (Bath/Somerset)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Employment Solicitor to join a respected regional firm that blends technical legal expertise with a commercial, people‑focused approach. The role offers hybrid working, allowing you to balance office collaboration in Bath with flexible remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice to regional businesses, growing companies, senior executives and individuals on a wide range of employment matters.
• Handle contentious matters such as disputes, claims and workplace issues.
• Deliver non‑contentious advisory work including restructures, TUPE, executive exits and settlement agreements.
• Support business protection, restrictive covenants and strategic HR advice.
• Assist individuals with workplace rights, disciplinary issues, redundancy and settlement negotiations.

Required profile

• Qualified Employment Solicitor (flexible PQE considered).
• Commercially aware with a practical problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused attitude.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and take ownership of work.
• Collaborative mindset with genuine interest in business and people.
