Employment Solicitor – Hybrid Working – Competitive Salary

About the role

Join a well‑established law firm in Devon as an Employment Solicitor. You will work with a diverse portfolio of employer clients, ranging from small‑medium enterprises to national businesses, providing advice on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers on day‑to‑day employment law and HR issues.
• Draft employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance and redundancy cases.
• Provide guidance on TUPE transfers and organisational restructures.
• Negotiate settlement agreements and defend Employment Tribunal claims.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development and networking activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• 2–4 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in employer‑focused employment law.
• Strong communication and client‑care abilities.
• Commercially minded, solutions‑focused and able to manage a varied caseload independently.
