Employment Solicitor – Remote (up to £90k)

About the role

Join a nationally recognised employment team at a leading law firm, working remotely on a diverse mix of contentious, advisory and transactional matters. You will advise clients across sectors such as healthcare, housing, higher education and the public sector, handling complex and high‑profile employment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload of both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Support partners and senior colleagues on high‑value mandates, including restructures and redundancy programmes.
• Advise on TUPE matters, including consultation obligations, warranties and indemnities.
• Conduct employment due diligence for corporate and commercial transactions.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
• Deliver client training and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Strong technical expertise across contentious and advisory employment matters.
• Experience advising on restructures, redundancies, employee‑relations issues and TUPE.
• Excellent litigation or advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑profile matters and build client relationships.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues.
• Commercially focused and proactive approach.
