About the role
Hestia Housing and Support is seeking an Employment Specialist to join its Employability Services team in Haringey. You will work with individuals who have mental health conditions, helping them secure and sustain meaningful employment using the IPS model.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of up to 20 clients, providing personalised employment support.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop multi‑disciplinary care plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify suitable job opportunities.
- Provide job‑retention assistance, benefit guidance and compliance with NHS and Hestia protocols.
- Track key performance indicators and produce accurate reports.
- Adapt support across various settings and respond flexibly to client needs.
Required profile
- Self‑starter comfortable working independently.
- Strong empathy, attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Experience supporting people in job searches and achieving targets.
- Willingness to learn and align with Hestia’s values of equity, diversity and inclusion.
